It was amazing. Hole in the wall for sure. But some of the best food I have ever eaten! Tacos are the best.
Don't expect service; order your tacos, eat them, and be happy. Go home a better person. -

After receiving horrible service for take out from Jalapeno, I decided to give this place a try and glad I did. For lunch, I ordered:
2 carne asada tacos
1 tamales
1 Caldo de Res
The tacos were good and tasty and so was the tamales, a little salty for me but will definitely order again. The Caldo de Res was goos, not as greasy as the other place. Will definitely return to try other items on their menu.
The service was good good with a smile. -

After reading the reviews on here, we decided to give it a shot and were very pleasantly surprised! While the place is a bit run down, everything was delicious and authentic. Would stop by again! Thank you for your hospitality

Tried this place for lunch and was a happy camper! Out of the Latin American restaurants in the area, this was my favorite so far. I ordered a chicken tamale and rice and beans. I thought it would be a nice, light lunch, but the portion sizes were very generous. The chicken tamale was fantastic and so flavorful. I had food envy of all the horchatas I saw coming out of the kitchen while we waited for our food--next time I will definitely get horchata, too.

There are several highly-rated Mexican restaurants in the Georgetown area, and we plan to try them all.
The chicken tamale had good flavor and big chunks of chicken meat (big +), but the meat contained numerous bones (big -).
The carne asada tacos were ok. The meat was a bit tough. I also really appreciate the option to add toppings from a salsa bar, and that option wasn't available here.
My wife really liked the chicken soup... me, not so much.
I liked the people and the location. I really wanted to love the place. However, while the food left me satisfied, it was uninspiring.
